Sparta Prague sporting director Tomas Rosicky can't wait to battle Steven Gerrard again in the Europa League.
And he predicts Rangers ' controversial meeting with their city rivals Slavia Prague last season - which saw defender Ondrej Kudela handed a ten-match ban for racially abusing Glen Kamara - won't have any impact on their upcoming matches in Glasgow and Prague.
Rangers were drawn against Sparta in the Europa League Group Stages, along with Lyon and Brondby.
Former Arsenal playmaker Rosicky spent ten years with the Gunners and is looking forward to renewing acquaintances with Liverpool icon and Ibrox boss Gerrard, who he faced several times on the pitch during their stellar careers in the English Premier League.
And he can't wait to travel to Glasgow and experience the noise of a packed Ibrox on a European night.
Rosicky said: "The game in Glasgow will be in front of a full stadium so that will be a brilliant test for our players.
"Everyone at the club is looking forward to that match.
"I played against Steven Gerrard many times. I remember him as an excellent midfielder. He was tough and didn't give you an inch for free.
"He could be very tough, but after the match, he always came and shook hands. He always wanted to win.
"He did absolutely everything he could to do it and he sometimes stepped over the line, but for him, it was always about the spirit of fair play when the game had ended.
"I don't know what he is like as a manager, only as a player.
"With regards to what happened last season with Slavia, I believe it will be fine for us in Glasgow. We are here for football, not to justify things that are wrong."
