Labour MP Tom Watson has seen his stock rise almost unimaginably as Rupert Murdoch's scandal-laden company has seen its stock fall, reports the Indy. Once best remembered as part of the Gordon Brown-supporting coup attempt against Tony Blair in 2006, the "top toadie", as he has been known, had a modest revival as parliamentary secretary. Now there's speculation that however happy he seems on the backbenches, he might not be able to resist the temptation to step up and exploit his new status. But how things have changed.
