Tom Sizemore dropped from thriller flick 'The Door' after claims he sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl

Tom Sizemore was booted from the upcoming film "The Door" after he was accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl in 2003.

The actor, who was set to star in the film, was completely removed from the project this week by the production company, Global Genesis Group, Deadline reported.

The decision comes after Sizemore was accused of touching an 11-year-old co-worker's genitals on the set of "Born Killers" in 2003, countless cast and crew members told The Hollywood Reporter on Monday.

Global Genesis group told Deadline that they will recast Sizemore's role as the male lead in the psychological thriller.

In the bombshell report published by THR, Sizemore was accused of allegedly rubbing his fingers along the young girl's vagina or digitally penetrating her while she was seated on his lap for a photoshoot, according to various accounts.

"The girl was so young it was unclear to her and (later) her parents what had actually taken place and if it was intentional or not," production manager Cassidy Lunnen told THR.

The film's producers claimed they ultimately booted Sizemore from set after hearing word of the assault. The girl's parents spoke to police about the incident, but did not press charges and didn't want her to lose her part on the film.

"Our position is 'no comment,'" his agent told THR of the allegations resurfacing.

Sizemore was dropped by his management firm, Untitled, and talent agency, CAA, at the time the allegations surfaced.

The woman is now 26 and says she and her parents are pursuing their legal options against the actor.

Sizemore has a rap sheet that includes multiple drug and domestic abuse charges, including a conviction for assault and battery against his ex Heidi Fleiss, the same month production started on "Born Killers."
