Tom Rogic Qatar transfer OFF as Celtic midfielder 'fails to agree personal terms'

Tom Rogic's move to Qatar is reportedly OFF as the Celtic midfielder failed to agree personal terms with the unnamed club.

The Hoops had accepted a £3.5million bid for Rogic from a Qatari side as he looked set to leave Parkhead.

But Sky Sports claim talks have broken down between the player and the club, with the Aussie opting to stay in Glasgow for the time being.

The same report also states Celtic are happy for the 27-year-old to stay at the club for this season, but understands he wants to be playing regular football after an injury-hit few years.

The playmaker has dropped down the pecking order in Neil Lennon's side and the arrival of David Turnbull from Motherwell could push him even further away from the first team.

Rogic has had fitness issues in the early stages of this season and is yet to make an appearance for the Hoops.
