Tom Rogic Celtic injury update as Ange Postecoglou rules out midfielder and reveals when he could return from hamstring issue

Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic is set for "at least" two weeks on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury against Hibs.

The Australian international had to be subsituted in the first half at Easter Road as Ange Postecoglou 's side took a 3-1 win.

Celtic can return to the top of the Premiership for the first time in 12 months on Saturday as they host Livingston, with Rangers not in action until Sunday.

They'll have to do so without Rogic though as his manager reveals a hamstring problem will keep him out until after the international break.

Postecoglou said: "He had a scan on his hamstring. It's going to put him out for at least two to three weeks.

"It's not a major one but he definitely won't be involved in these games.

"Then obviously we have the international window, and if everything goes to plan he should be available once we get back from that."

Rogic has made 14 appearances so far this season, scoring once and providing two assists.

His time at Celtic has been dogged by injury though, with the 28-year-old only once managing over 30 league games in a season.
