Tom Parker’s wife shares emotional tribute to her ‘soul mate’ after his death age 33 from brain tumour

The wife of Tom Parker has described their love as “pure and honest” as she shared a series of emotional tributes to him following his death.

The Wanted singer died on Wednesday at the age of 33 following a brave battle with cancer after being diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma in October 2020.

His widow Kelsey Hardwick - with whom he shares daughter Aurelia, two, and son Bodhi, one - originally broke the news of his death.

In addition to posting a heartbreaking picture of the doting dad laying on a bed with their children, the 32-year-old has now reshared some of the many tributes from his friends on social media.

One post included a voicenote he had once sent to pal Stephanie Elswood complementing her on her dancing.

Resharing the short audio clip, Hardwick commented: “This is... Tom Parker everyone... he changed so many lives in such a small amount of time. Tom Parker I f***ing love you. Such a legend.

“Just the fact that he would send messages like this... I mean can you imagine the messages I got.”

She also shared a tribute from former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan who was previously engaged to Parker’s bandmate Max George.

“Absolutely heartbroken for Kelsey, his beautiful babies, family and everyone who knew Tom,” Keegan wrote.

“What a truly special guy. Such an honour to have known him and witness first hand their love. they really are the true definition of soul mates.

“Gone far too soon, rest peacefully Tom. @beingkelsey thinking of you x.”

The mother-of-two replied: “Love you. You knew how pure our love was so pure and honest. Soul mates until the end.”

Parker made his last public appearance on March 17 on the final date of The Wanted’s reunion tour in Liverpool.

Recently, he had been in Spain receiving revolutionary treatment in his battle with the incurable disease.

Last week, the star announced plans to release a book entitled Hope, My Inspirational Journey.

Taking to social media, he wrote: "Hi, I'm Tom Parker, a lot of you know me as one-fifth of The Wanted, but I am also a father, a husband, and a son, that's battling brain cancer. My book, coming this July, is not about dying: It's a book about living.

“It's a book about finding hope in whatever situation you're dealt, and living your best life no matter what. It will show you how having faith in hope and daring to dream means you can carry on, against all odds.”
