Tom Parker's wife Kelsey issues stark warning over headaches after his brain tumour

Tom Parker's wife Kelsey warned people to take headaches seriously after her husband was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

The Wanted star Tom was diagnosed with terminal cancer which he went public with in October last year, just weeks before becoming a dad for the second time.

It's been a little more than six months since the singer was told he had grade four glioblastoma.

Speaking out, his wife Kelsey stressed the importance of educating people in recognising the symptoms.

The mum listed the catalogue of symptoms: a throbbing headache, seizures or any physical changes including lumps or bumps.

She told Closer magazine: "So markers like this are important in educating people and encouraging themselves to get checked if they suffered with throbbing headaches, seizures or find any physical changes such as lumps and bumps."

Tom had got himself checked out after having a seizure in July and now he has been receiving treatment for his brain cancer.

The singer has undergone rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy which his wife said have been "successful so far".

Tom and Kelsey have been raising their two children Aurelia, one, and Bodhi, who was born two weeks after his dad's diagnosis.

They have plans to enjoy a camping holiday in the summer, which will mark their first trip as a family of four.

She added: "A ray of light keeping us going at the moment is the thought of summer- we have a camping holiday booked, which we're all looking forward to.

"It'll be our first holiday as a family of four."

Previously, Tom gushed over his wife for being his "rock" when doctors delivered his devastating diagnosis.

He told OK! magazine : "She’s been amazing. She is my rock. She’s been so practical about everything. Our friends and family have been amazing, too."

Kelsey admitted she cried in private because she needed to be strong for her husband.

She added: "This has been the worst possible news. I cry, but I don’t do it in front of Tom, I need to be strong for him and positivity is the best medicine right now.

"Aurelia has been a brilliant distraction in that sense."
