The wife of Tom Parker, Kelsey Hardwick, has revealed the heart-breaking conversations that she had with their two-year-old daughter around his passing.

The Wanted singer died on March 30 following a brave 17-month battle with a brain tumour at the age of 33.

Fans lined the streets to pay their final respects outside the church where his funeral service was held in Petts Wood, South East London, on April 20.

Appearing on ITV’s Loose Women on Friday, actress Hardwick, 31, opened up about her “soulmate’s” final days and breaking the news to daughter Aurelia that he had died.

She said: "I did say to her he wouldn’t be coming home from the hospice and on the Wednesday when he did die, I was leaving to go to the hospice and I just said to her, ‘I’ve got to go to make sure the angels take daddy. The angels are coming to collect him,’ which is a really horrible conversation.

"The next day I had to tell her her dad’s dead. This is the advice I got - to be honest. I said, ‘Dad’s dead and he’s not coming back.’

"So she’s still trying to digest that." She continued: "The fact I met Tom at 19 in a really tough industry.... We were soulmates. We loved each other so much, he was my best friend… I found the love of my life at the age of 19 and I’ve spent all these years with him. How lucky am I to say I found love? I was so in love with him."

Hardwick and Parker got married in 2018.

They also share one-year-old son, Bodhi.

The mum-of-two, who lives is South East London, says she is currently taking things one day at a time.

She is certain however that the Gold Forever hit-maker is still very much with her and claims that he sends her signs.

She said: “I feel strong, I’m just getting through each day. I have the kids. I have to wake up each day, I have to get on with it, just trying to be as strong as possible in a really difficult situation and time for us all.

“He has given me so many signs - car alarms go off at 4 in the morning. I’m like, ‘Not 4 in the morning, Tom.” I do talk to him and that’s a release as well. I can feel him there.”
