Tom Parker's widow Kelsey speaks out on the 'toughest' part of grief in TV interview

Kelsey Parker has opened up about the 'toughest' part of grief since husband Tom Parker died in an emotional interview on Loose Women. The mum-of-two, who lost her singer husband, aged 33, in March this year after he had been diagnosed with a brain tumour, appeared on the hit ITV show where she spoke about how she has been coping since his passing.

Kelsey talked about what the hardest parts are and how her children have been getting on. She shared her two children, Aurelia and Bodhi with The Wanted singer Tom, originally from Bolton.

As panelist Janet Street Porter asked when the hardest times for Kelsey were, she responded: "Evenings are so tough. It's because the kids go to bed and it's just me.

"That's the time you speak to your partner, you gossip, you talk. I don't have that any more."

"It's very matter of fact that he has died. She [Aurelia] will pick things up and say 'OK that's my dad's' or 'OK that's mummy and daddy when they got married.'

"We really talk about him in the house. It's so important. It just keeps him alive for them."

Tom had been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in October 2020 and was given just 18 months to live. He was 33-years-old when he died in March 2022. Last month, h undreds of people walked through the streets of Bolton in his memory, visiting his old haunts in the town and places special to him.

Kelsey will be completing a charity challenge for Coppa Feel in November in memory of Tom, which will see her trek across the Sahara. She has remained open on her social media about how she has been coping following her husband's death.

"But it's a weird tired. I just feel like at the moment work is taking me to a place where obviously it's quite emotional and I'm talking about a lot of things that's emotional. So I just think I'm like emotionally drained."
