Kelsey Parker, the widow of The Wanted singer Tom Parker, has opened up about the 'blunt' conversation she has with her daughter almost every day about her father's death. It was announced in March this year that Tom, 33, had sadly passed away, 17 months after he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
Tom shared two children with Kelsey - daughter Aurelia, who will turn three in July, and their son Bodhi, who will turn two in October - The Mirror reports. In an emotional interview with Lorraine Kelly on June 14, Kelsey explained how her and Tom were "soulmates", who had been through so much together.
She also proudly spoke about her late husband's book, which has been named a Sunday Times bestseller. The mum-of-two chatted with Lorraine on her ITV show about how their house was "never sad" and was actually a "happy place to be in".

Lorraine then referred back to a video clip, which showed Aurelia getting very excited when she saw her dad's book in a shop. "Whenever she sees her dad, she's like, 'that's my dad!'," Kelsey explained smiling.
"I guess it's really difficult for a three-year-old to understand the concept of the fact that her dad is not here anymore?" Lorraine asked.
"I've been really honest," Kelsey replied. "But she does still talk about him every day and she doesn't quite understand that he's not coming back.
"So I have to be really blunt to say, 'he's not coming back, that's it, he's dead and he's not coming back'. Because she doesn't really understand.
"She's just really confused by it. But then we do talk about him every day. She does ask me every day about him."
Referring to how her children keep her going, she added: "They wake up happy, they wake up in a good mood so then I can't be sad. And he wouldn't us to be sad and mourning.
"Don't get me wrong, I get my bad days, of course I do. At night it is lonely, I am lonely, but this is my life, I have to get on with it.
"He was my actual best friend. I just loved him so much, the love I had for him was like no other."
