Tom Parker's widow Kelsey 'doesn't want to think about' his upcoming death anniversary

Kelsey Parker said she 'doesn't want to think about' Tom Parker's upcoming death anniversary.

The Wanted singer died on March 30 after battling grade four glioblastoma, a type of brain tumour, for over a year.

He left behind his wife Kelsey and their two children Aurelia, three, and Bodhi, two.

Ahead of the one-year anniversary, Kelsey admitted she has been 'taking each day' as it comes.

"It’s tough, but you’ve just got to get through it," she revealed.

When asked whether she'll be marking the day, Kelsey added: "I don’t know yet. I don’t want to think about it right now, but I’m sure I’ll do something."

She added to OK! magazine that the children have been doing 'alright'.

Kelsey announced Tom's sad passing last year, writing on Instagram : "Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence."

Tom received the devastating diagnosis he had an inoperable brain tumour while wife Kelsey was pregnant with their second child.

Prior to his death, Kelsey revealed how she’d begged doctors not to tell Tom how long he has to live over fears he would count down the days.

It comes after Kelsey revealed she felt 'angry, sad and lonely' on Valentine's Day this year.

She told fans she wasn't sure whether she should post anything on February 14, but she wanted to thank her late husband for the 'best years of her life'.

Sharing a picture of the couple hugging, she posted: "This time last year I was full of hope. We were in Spain where Tom was in daily therapy and he was the strongest and healthiest he’d been in a long time.

"I was lucky enough to spend Valentine’s and another 3 weeks just me and Tom. I never could have known how precious that time was or imagined the pain that was ahead of me and now, a year later, I’m facing the anniversary of a whole year without you Tom.

"I’m angry, sad, lonely, wishing more than anything that none of this happened to us. But it did and I’m grateful for the years we had, the love we shared and the babies we made."

Kelsey thanked the couple's children Bodhi and Aurelia for 'bringing her so much joy'.

She went on to tell her followers to 'cherish' the relationships they have, saying: "We’re all here to love and to be loved."
