Tom Parker's daughter kisses late dad's face on book cover in tear-jerking video

Tom Parker 's widow Kelsey Parker has shared a heartfelt video of their daughter kissing her late father's face on the cover his posthumous book Hope: My Inspirational Life.

The late singer - who passed away earlier this year, less than two years after being diagnosed with a brain tumour - had worked on the new memoir prior to his death aged just 33.

Following its release last week, his wife Kelsey documented the "special moment" that their children - Aurelia, almost three, and Bodhi, 21 months - got to see it in a book store.

She shared footage of them visiting a Waterstones store to get copies of the book, which she said that her late husband had "desperately" hoped would become a bestseller.

The footage was posted on Instagram earlier this afternoon and features the song Gold Forever - performed by the band the Wanted, of which Tom had been a member.

It sees Kelsey walking her two children into the book store, where she shows them a stand that includes copies of Tom's memoir - with Aurelia pointing excitedly at the books.

The youngster is then seen looking at the front of one copy, which features a photo of Tom. Aurelia is shown hugging the book and kissing her late dad's face on the cover.

Another part shows her being shown pages in the book, including photos of the family - with Aurelia pointing to herself in one that shows herself, Tom and brother Bodhi.

Alongside the footage, Kelsey wrote: "A special moment. Very proud to take our bodies to see Tom's book in store. Rae's face when she saw his [on the cover of the memoir]."

She further commented in the caption: "Tom so desperately wanted this to be bestseller and I'm keeping everything crossed that becomes a reality this weekend."

Kelsey concluded the post on social media by writing to fans: "Thank you so much for all your support and lovely comments. Every single purchase means the world to me."

Fans were touched by the video, with a number saying they were "crying" and describing it as "emotional," with it also referred to as "sweet" by others on the platform.

The release of the book had been announced by Kelsey last week, who said it was a "celebration" of her late husband's life that had been "written by him" for his supporters.
