Tom Parker revealed that he was 'overwhelmed with support' after announcing that he had been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour.
The 32-year-old singer, who is expecting his second child with wife Kelsey, thanked his fans on social media after revealing the devastating news on Monday.
At the start of the week, The Wanted star revealed he had been undergoing treatment for the brain tumour but it is onoperable.
Since making the heartbreaking announcement, Tom has been inundated with messages and support from his fan base.
Taking to social media, Tom shared an image of his OK! magazine cover while thanking fans for their support and positivity.
"We truly are overwhelmed with everyone’s love, support and positivity," Tom wrote.
"We have had so many people reach out with positive stories and it’s been incredible," he added.
"Thank you to @ok_mag for their exclusive interview with us and being so understanding.
The singer concluded: "We are fighting this- thanks to everyone behind us fighting alongside us. Let’s do this."
Tom was instantly flooded with messages, including one from fellow Wanted star Max George who wrote: "You got this."
"Everyone absolutely adores you brother, We are with you every step of the way!" wrote TOIWIE's James Argent.
Vas Morgan added: "Sending you so much love."
Yesterday, Tom bravely decided to share the news with fans after being quiet on social media for some months.
He said: "We are all absolutely devastated but we are gonna fight this all the way.
"We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options.
Tom has a grade four glioblastoma and although he is undergoing treatment, the diagnosis is terminal.
The average survival rate for the terminal tumour is between 12 and 18 months.
It was only a few months ago that Tom announced that his wife was expecting their second child.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, welcomed their first daughter Aurelia 16 months ago.
