Tom Kitchin's East Lothian restaurant Bonnie Badger closes doors after Covid-19 cases

Tom Kitchin has announced on Twitter that his East Lothian restaurant, the Bonnie Badger in Gullane, will be temporarily closing its doors due to a Covid outbreak at the venue.

The restaurant announced on Facebook that they have had "confirmation of 3 cases of Covid linked to our premises".

The Bonnie Badger has immediately closed the restaurant and hotel until further notice while a deep clean on the venue is carried out.

They wrote: "To ensure the safety of our guests, diners and our team members we have made the difficult but correct decision to close the hotel and restaurant until further notice.
