Tom Kerridge to close restaurant at luxury hotel owned by Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs

The restaurant run by celebrity chef Tom Kerridge at a Manchester hotel owned by Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs is to close in the New Year.

The three Michelin-starred chef launched The Bull & Bear at Stock Exchange Hotel towards the end of 2019.

However, the restaurant will close its doors in January while an announcement is expected to be made next week on future plans for the hotel.

Writing on LinkedIn alongside a video of the two of them, Mr Neville said: "As of January, our partnership at Stock Exchange Hotel Manchester with The Bull & Bear will be ending.

"I remember first walking into Kerridge’s Bar & Grill and asking Tom to come have a look at a room we were planning for in Manchester which then went on to become The Bull & Bear and it’s been an amazing relationship over these last few years.

"We’ve had numerous conversations over the last few months and it feels like the right thing for both businesses and what they need and hopefully this video shows you that you can have honest conversations with your business partners and work together to find the best solutions for everyone and keep your good relationships.

"We’ll be making an announcement next week about our future plans for Stock Exchange .

"I’d like to thank Tom and his team for what they have achieved as part of Stock Exchange Hotel over these last few years and they’ve played a huge role in making Stock Exchange the number one hotel in Manchester."

The luxury hotel in Norfolk Street is owned by Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville's GG Hospitality and opened after an extensive renovation of the 1906 Edwardian building.
