Tom Jones has been everywhere of late and now he's got the hottest ticket in TV - a spot on the Celebrity Gogglebox sofa.
The new series of the hit Channel 4 show starts on Friday, June 4, and will see the Treforest-born star react to the week's best TV with his The Voice co-star, Anne-Marie. You can read more about the celebrity line-up here.
A source told The Sun : “Sir Tom has been on the wish-list for Gogglebox bosses for a long time.
"His schedule is incredibly busy but this time they have managed to secure him for filming. Everyone is hugely excited about Sir Tom coming on board.
“He will be on the sofa watching the box with Anne-Marie. They got on like a house on fire on the show and their chemistry on screen was fantastic.
"Gogglebox bosses think they’ll be an even funnier duo when they’re watching TV together and talking off the cuff.”
Sir Tom has been promoting his new album, Surrounded By Time, heavily over the past few months and it shot in at number one. Appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show last month he said how he was surprised he was even still alive at the age of 81 and that retirement wasn't an option.
Other new faces for the latest series of the celeb-spin off of Gogglebox include Spice Girl Mel C, DJ Clara Amfo, Lorraine Kelly, Clare Balding and former footballers Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher.
Fan faves like Maureen Lipman and Gyles Brandreth, Denise van Outen and Shaun Ryder and Bez will also be back.
Celebrity Gogglebox returns to Channel 4 on Friday, June 4 at 9pm.
