Forrest Gump star Tom Hanks is said to have crashed a same-sex wedding after he saw the ceremony on the beach while out jogging.
Diciembre and Tashia Farries were getting married in Santa Monica when the Hollywood veteran reportedly asked the pair for a picture.
According to FOX LA, Tom decided to approach the happy couple as the ceremony came to a close.
"Everyone is saying, 'There's Tom Hanks!'' Tashia said when interviewed, adding that she and Diciembre weren't banking on Hollywood royalty turning up.
In video taken on the beach, Tom seemed particularly pleased when he realised it was a same-sex wedding.
"Oh get out!" he exclaimed. "My stock just exploded!"
According to Tashia, Tom had been watching the ceremony from afar and said: "I saw the ceremony from back there and it had to be one of the most beautiful ceremonies that I've ever seen,'' she recounted.
The Castaway star posed for pictures with the newlyweds with celebrity chef Tashia wearing a suit and Diciembre a beautiful gown.
They were joined by their one-year-old son son, who looked adorable in a burgundy suit.
Tashia also said that Tom gave them some 'positive words' and told them to "keep the love alive".
Diciembre said meeting the star was the 'icing on the cake' on their special day.
"Our wedding was already a dream to me,' she said. 'To finally marry her — this was our day. And everybody we love was there, and... Tom Hanks just walks up! Out of all days, out of all people, he walked on the beach today. It was meant [to be]."
And in another strange chain of events, Tom is said to have shared the same birthday as Diciembre's late brother, whose portrait had been placed on a chair during the ceremony.
"So he wasn't at the wedding, but Tom Hanks coming was his way of saying he was here," she said.
Of course this isn't the first time the actor has crashed a wedding.
Tom was jogging through Central Park in New York City in 2016 when he spotted smitten couple Elisabeth and Ryan, and decided to give them a wedding surprise they'd never forget.
He ran over in a hoodie and sweat pants to introduce himself to the shocked lovebirds as photographer Meg Miller took their pictures after their ceremony nearby.
Tom has been married to his wife, actress Rita Wilson, for more than 30 years.
They met in 1981 on the set of the ABC sitcom Bossom Budies while Tom was still married to his first wife Samantha Lewes.
Tom and Rita married in 1988 and have two children together Chet and Truman Hanks.
