Tom Daley trying his luck out in Hollywood after 'signing up to agency'

Tom Daley is reportedly trying his luck in Hollywood after signing up with a Los Angeles-based agency.

The Olympic swimmer is said to be a 'natural for television' and joined the Creative Artists Agency.

A LA source revealed: "Tom is a natural for TV."

"Not only does he have a very great natural gentle manner, but his look and British accent give him a competitive edge in Hollywood," they continued to Daily Mail.

Mirror have contacted his reps for comment.

The 27-year-old was a mentor on ITV's diving competition show Splash!, which had celebrities showing off their skills as divers.

His husband, Dustin Lance Black, is already an American screenwriter, director, film and television producer.

The two started dating in 2013 and tied the knot four years later at Bovey Castle in Devon.

The lovebirds welcomed their son Robbie two years later after he was born via surrogate.

Tom recently revealed he wishes he came out a lot sooner than he did.

His coming out experience was ‘liberating’ as his beloved parents immediately showered him with support and acceptance.

Recalling his powerful story, Tom revealed that when he was 19-years-old, he realised it was finally time to tell the world.

At the time, Tom unveiled his relationship with his now-husband, Dustin.

Speaking to British GQ about his coming out story, Tom said: “It was kind of traumatic, but then also a very liberating experience. To be honest, I wish I had come out earlier.

“I don't know what that would have been like for me or whatever, but since coming out I've felt like I could be myself; all of that pressure comes off. I look back and think, "Imagine if I was out when I was 16, 17, when I first started exploring?"

The Olympian went on: “'One thing that's hard is exploring sexuality in the public eye. I think if I wasn't in the public eye maybe things would be different. It's a very surreal thing to have to go through that in the public eye.”

Tom, an LGBTQ+ activist, has been open about his beliefs and recently called for countries that punish being gay with death to be banned from the 2024 Olympics.

He said last month that he was making it his mission to “create change” before the Paris Games in three years' time.
