Tom Daley and husband Dustin Lance Black 'consider adoption for second child'

Tom Daley and his husband Dustin Lance Black are allegedly considering adding to their family by adopting a child.

The couple are already parents to a son born via an American surrogate in June 2018.

Olympian Tom, 24, and his partner Dustin, 44, have always been vocal about having a large family.

Speaking at the British Podcast Awards, Dustin confirmed the couple “would consider adopting” as they wanted several brothers and sisters for their son Robert Ray.

News of their intentions to adopt came shortly after Dustin was forced to miss Tom being crowned Diving World Series champion yesterday in a row over a poolside buggy ban.

Tom and Dustin were criticised for their Instagram ads for Pampers which features their son Robert Ray (dlanceblack/Instagram)

Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black spark controversy by 'using' their baby to sell nappies

Dustin, an American screenwriter and director, branded the ban as “cruel” claiming it created a “toxic environment for our family”.

He hit back at organisers British Swimming, saying: “It’s time to start treating families how other nations do; as assets, not obstacles.”

British Swimming said that while it was disappointed Dustin was not able to attend the event, the buggy ban was in place for safety reasons.
