Tom Cruise, Kate Moss and David Beckham among those at the final
(Picture: AP)Naturally, there are some famous faces at the hotly anticipated Euro 2020 final between England and Italy. These include former England legends, such as David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Sir Geoff Hurst, and the usual political guests, such as Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Italy’s president, Sergio Mattarella.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are also there with their son, Prince George. The duchess made a quick dash across from Wimbledon where she watched the men’s wheelchair singles final.
But it was two more unlikely names on the guest list that sent Twitter into hysterics: world-renowned British supermodel Kate Moss and US actor Tom Cruise.

Cruise had also been Wimbledon for the men’s final today, so would have been in a race against time to get across London to secure his seat at Wembley Stadium.
Some admired Cruise’s ‘Mission Impossible’ style tactics (and made some appropriate jokes) – while others highlighted how the ticket ballot miraculously worked in Cruise’s favour.
Really sweet that even after all these years Tom Cruise still gets an empty seat next to him for Goose. #ENGITA pic.twitter.com/oD1WndHmsZ

Tom Cruise was just at the Wimbledon final. Hardly enough time to make it across London to Wembley surely. #missionimpossible

Tom Cruise has got tickets for the Wimbledon men’s final and the final of Euro 2020. That’s some luck in the ballot, that is

One suggested he had hot-footed it over to north west London in the tiny car that delivers the ball at the start of the game.

Someone else was intrigued by how the actor keeps up his appearance at 59, but more importantly, wanted to know how he got so lucky in securing tickets for not one – but two – sporting events on the same day.
Two questions for Tom Cruise. 1) How do you look like that at 59? More importantly 2) How did you get tickets for both the finals at Wimbledon and the Euros?

For many people, it was the way the announcement was made that was so hilarious. The guest list read: ‘Tom Cruise, Kate Moss… and many other sporting legends.’
It's the "Tom Cruise, Kate Moss, and many other football legends" that got me 😄

Tom Cruise and Kate Moss, those well known football legends.

Kate Moss was fantastic, but I wouldn't put her down as a football legend!

Kate Moss and "many other football legends"? Guess I completely missed her foray into football.

Others joked about Moss’ legendary football career...
Lost it at ‘Tom Cruise, Kate Moss and many other football legends’ like aye Kate Moss was a cracking defensive midfielder in her time. https://t.co/P74ifb2PPG

tbh I am very happy to see Mossy finally recognised for her illustrious career as a striker. https://t.co/7Oqsuppafo
We just hope they enjoyed themselves.
