Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback to ever play the game of professional football. He also seems to be a pretty nice guy who cares about his current teammates and his past teammates, as Jets WR Demaryius Thomas learned before Monday night’s Patriots-Jets game.
Thomas, of course, was signed by the Patriots over the offseason but then he was traded to the Jets after New England signed Antonio Brown.
The veteran wide receiver has voiced his frustrations with how things went down during his brief stint with the Patriots and doesn’t seem happy with how Bill Belichick handled things.
Brady appeared to smooth things over Monday when he walked up to Thomas on the field before warmups and gave him a gift:
I don’t know what’s in the box – hopefully it’s not avocado ice cream or sprouts or anything like that – but I do know that is a pretty sweet thing for the QB to do and the gift was probably something pretty cool.
