Quarterback Tom Brady hasn’t rebuffed New England. To the contrary, he’s made efforts to show he still cares about the New England Patriots’ fanbase, even as he moves to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He put together another Instagram post — a video this time — to show his appreciation for Patriots fans, the team, owner Robert Kraft and coach Bill Belichick.
“My journey over the past 20 years in New England has been amazing. It’s been a long road, and I wouldn’t change anything about it. The support and love of New England fans has always been unconditional. Thank you, Pats Nation #TheOnlyWayIsThrough,” Brady wrote.
Perhaps Brady decided to make another gesture of appreciation after his letter on The Players’ Tribune came off — in some ways — as an explanation for what the Buccaneers were (and the Patriots were not).
