Tom Brady takes a dig at biggest naysayer Max Kellerman’s cliff remarks

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is destined to have the last laugh over ESPN analyst Max Kellerman. In an Instagram post on Thursday, he posted a picture of a radar gun tracking the speed of his throwing arm.

Not bad for an old man.

Even if Father Time is undefeated, the six-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback has already exceeded expectations beyond the typical expiration date of past players at his position. Just ask Kellerman, who has been one of Brady’s biggest naysayers over the last couple years. His ongoing “falling off the cliff” theory is a shifty prognostication that changes year-to-year.

Brady might actually turn 50 years old before Kellerman is right.

The 2019 season is looking like another year where the soon-to-be 42-year-old quarterback serves out another heaping helping of humble pie.

The Patriots recently added first-round draft pick N’Keal Harry, Demaryius Thomas, Maurice Harris and Dontrelle Inman to a receiving corps that already had Julian Edelman and Phillip Dorsett. There is also the possibility of the league reinstating Josh Gordon at some point in the season.

So Brady could potentially have the most offensive firepower he’s ever had under center. The only cliff-diving in Brady’s immediate future will probably come from opposing defenses standing in his way.

Troll on, Max.
