Tom Brady shares hugely positive thoughts on Mohamed Sanu

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had exceedingly nice things to say about newcomer Mohamed Sanu.

Brady’s reviews of receivers are not always positive (see: his thoughts on rookies N’Keal Harry, Jakobi Meyers and Gunner Olszewski). But Brady used hyperbole when discussing Sanu during an interview with Patriots’ “All-Access.” Sanu, who joined the Patriots in a trade with the Atlanta Falcons, is impressing his new organization.

“I certainly have a way that I like the receivers to play, so it’s hard to get someone up to speed in a very short period of time,” he said in an interview with the team’s website. “But he’s done everything we could expect and more.”

In Sanu’s first performance with the Patriots in Week 8, he didn’t put together a huge game (2 catches, 23 yards), which was understandable considering he had just six days in the offense. But in Week 9, he proved he had a strong understanding of the Patriots offense (which has stumped past wideouts). In his second game with the Patriots, he had 10 catches 81 yards and one touchdown.
