Former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is taking his shot on the big screen. Brady will both produce and appear in the film, “80 for Brady,” per The Hollywood Reporter’s Borys Kit.
The film centers around four best friends, as they travel to Super Bowl LI to see Brady and the New England Patriots play. The film will star Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field.
Kyle Marvin will direct the film, and the film will be produced by 199 Productions, Brady’s production company. Brady will develop the film with Donna Gigliotti, who has worked on films such as in Figures, Silver Linings Playbook, and Shakespeare in Love. Endeavor Content will also help produce the film.
Production on the film is set to begin this spring.
With Brady hanging up the cleats, it appears that one of his next forays will be lending a hand on the big screen.
