One of the weirdest storylines from NFL training camps this year involved Tom Brady and the 11-day break he took from being with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Nobody really knows why he left the team for that long during camp (though there was one wild theory). Brady returned to the team last week and made his only appearance in a preseason game last night against the Indianapolis Colts, where he went 6-8 for 44 yards in his only series of action.
Brady, who is entering his 23rd season in the NFL, spoke with the media in Indy after the game and said this about his absence:
"I'm 45 years old man, there's a lot of s–t goin' on."
