Tom Brady’s inner-monologue on bad throws is exactly what you’d think it would be

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is a perfectionist. He wouldn’t have won six Super Bowls if he wasn’t. But he provided yet another reminder that he’s maniacally self critical during an interview with Men’s Health.

Brady opened up on his thought process as he is releasing the football during a football game. Brady admitted that only feels that he’s done exactly what he wants with the ball on 10 percent of his throws — even if his completion percentage in 2018 was 65.8.

Here’s what Brady told Men’s Health’s Ben Court:

“There are times when I release the ball and I know it’s perfect. I throw it with the exact pace and arc that I wanted, and to the exact location. But when I throw it and it doesn’t do that, in my mind (I’m thinking,) I’m f—ing s–t—what did I do wrong? I f—ing overstrode. Too little torque.”

Essentially, Brady’s inner monologue is extremely Tom Brady.
