Tom Brady’s tenure in the NFL has been groundbreaking, with a career spanning over 21 years and (after Sunday) 10 Super Bowl appearances. It’s hard to properly contextualize how long Brady has been in the NFL.
But one Twitter user actually did just that by sharing what Brady looked like in his first video game appearance — back when he played for Michigan — and his latest (in “Madden 21”).
The difference in graphics is absolutely insane. It’s such a stark difference that Brady saw the tweet, and decided to respond with a classic meme. It showed the brutal court drawing (from the Deflategate hearings) of Brady on the left and a photo of Brady at the MET Gala on the right to match the ancient likeness and the present one.
