Ever wonder how Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski landed in Tampa Bay?
Just a year ago, Gronkowski was enjoying the retired life and Brady lost the first round of the playoffs with the New England Patriots. Brady put out a cryptic tweet before the Super Bowl that ended up being a picture from a Hulu commercial — his laughter was Patriots fans’ pain.
There were three options for Brady — retire, enter the free agency market or stay with the Patriots. According to this hilarious T-Mobile ad ahead of Super Bowl LV — Brady’s decision was quite simple. All he had to do was give Gronkowski a call and the rest was history.
