Tom Brady jabs Peyton Manning over crowd noise at RCA Dome

Peyton Manning and Tom Brady’s rivalry isn’t dead. They may have developed a friendship through that rivalry — but they’re still clearly competitive with one another. And they’re still clearly competitive when thinking about their old matchups. They squared off 16 times, with Brady winning 11 (including two of five matchups in the postseason).

During an episode of “Peyton’s Places” on ESPN Plus, Brady made an appearance and they reminisced about their matchups at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis.

“You couldn’t hear anything,” Brady said of the steel-domed stadium.

“Yeah, we didn’t pump in noise either,” Manning responded.

“You’re full of (expletive),” Brady said.

The video below is NSFW. Here’s a look at the exchange between Brady and Manning.

In 2007, the Patriots accused the Colts of pumping crowd noise into the dome during a 24-20 New England win, but the NFL cleared Indy of any wrongdoing and CBS took responsibility for the strange noise levels. The Colts hosted the Patriots there in the 2006 AFC championship game, in which Manning rallied Indianapolis to a 38-34 comeback victory. As a member of the Patriots, Brady also made trips to the RCA Dome in 2000, 2001 and 2003.
