Tom Brady has officially retired from the NFL.
No, I’m serious. It really happened this morning. Stop laughing. We heard it from the GOAT himself.
While reports of his retirement were all over the place on Saturday, Brady made his official announcement on Instagram this morning, posting a lot of words in which he explained that he no longer had the drive to be all in and that after thinking about it for the days since the Bucs lost to Rams he realized it was time to call it quits.
The 7-time Super Bowl champ wrote a lot of words in his post and thanked just about everyone involved with the Bucs.
You know who he didn’t mention at all? The Patriots. Was this a message of some sort? You’d think he give them a little bit of a mention considering all the time they spent together and all the Super Bowls they won together but… nope!
