Tom Brady mercilessly roasted Mike Vrabel in this video from the Titans-Bucs practice

Tom Brady and his former teammate, Mike Vrabel, are actually pretty good friends.

They played together with the Patriots for years. While Brady was the head of the snake for the Patriots’ offense, Vrabel played a similar role at linebacker for their defense. And through their years of domination in the NFL, the two became good pals.

Though, by watching this latest snippet from the Buccaneers’ new training camp documentary “In the Current,” you truly wouldn’t be able to tell.

Brady absolutely roasts his former teammate and the Titans’ current head coach. It’s totally hilarious. But Brady keeps a straight face the entire time.

“Mike’s kind of an (expletive) if you get to know him. He went to Ohio State. Obviously, I don’t like him. There’s a healthy competition between us always, even though he’s fat and out of shape now. Physically, he’s really declined to a pretty sad state.”

Ouch. That hurts. It probably has Vrabel somewhere cracking up, though. This is what these two do.

They’ve been taking friendly shots at one another since Vrabel became the head coach of the Titans. There was a pretty good one from Vrabel a few weeks ago where he claimed he was Jack Brady’s favorite player. Jack is Tom Brady’s son.

We need to get these two doing a live roast session at some point. That would be absolute gold.

Until then, though, these shots are enough.
