Tom Brady limited with shoulder injury in Patriots practice in Week 9

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was limited in practice on Wednesday during Week 9 with a throwing shoulder issue. He is a new addition to the team’s injury report.

Running back Rex Burkhead (foot), safety Patrick Chung (heel/chest), receiver Julian Edelman (chest/shoulder), tight end Ryan Izzo (concussion), tight end Matt LaCosse (knee), guard Shaq Mason (ankle) and receiver Gunner Olszewski (ankle/hamstring) were also limited for Wednesday’s practice. Edelman was previously listed with a chest injury, but his shoulder issue is new.

Brady has dealt with limitations in the past, with knee, Achilles and hand issues in 2018 and 2017. But they haven’t held him out of game action. During his career, he has missed just 15 games due to injury, an ACL tear.
