Tom Brady limited at Patriots practice in Week 3

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was limited at practice on Wednesday ahead of the team’s Week 3 matchup against the New York Jets. The injury is not anything to worry about going forward, according to the Boston Herald’s Karen Guregian.

Linebacker Shilique Calhoun (not injury related) and fullback James Develin (neck) were not participants on Wednesday. Brady was among four players who were limited: offensive lineman Caleb Benenoch (calf), tackle Marcus Cannon (shoulder) and tight end Matt LaCosse (ankle). Running back Brandon Bolden (hamstring) was listed on the report, but participated fully.

It’s unclear why Calhoun missed practice. He, Develin, Brady and Benenoch are new to the injury report. LaCosse has been limited since the start of the season, and Cannon has been limited since suffering an injury in Week 1. Bolden was on the injury report for all of last week and missed the Week 2 game against Miami.
