Tom Brady jokingly hits back at Mike Vrabel after being called out for walking

If there’s one thing a coach hates to see at practice, it’s a lack of effort — or even the appearance of a lack of effort. That means that players are expected to run to their spots on the field and hustle all the time.

But at some point, you’d think Tom Brady would get a pass on the run-at-all-times expectation. Not when his former teammate Mike Vrabel is around.

The Patriots and Titans held join practices on Wednesday in Nashville, and when Brady leisurely made his way onto the field, the Titans head coach absolutely took notice. He shouted at Brady who followed up with his own comeback. (NSFW language)

The exchange appeared to go something like this:

Vrabel: “No walking on the field, huh? No walking!”

Brady: “Why don’t you pay attention to your own (expletive)?”

How nice — it’s like they’re still teammates.

The Patriots and Titans will play Saturday for their second preseason game.
