Tom Brady jokes on his birthday about continuing to own a really old iPhone

Tom Brady turned 43 years old on Monday, and he’s got the perfect gift for himself … and for everyone else.

Over the weekend, Twitter lost its collective mind when an Instagram story from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback appeared to show the dashboard on his car playing music from “Tom Brady’s iPhone 6+.”

For those of you like me who aren’t Apple users, we’re up to iPhone 11. This is like Brady using a flip phone.

On Monday, in celebration of his birthday, Brady made a joke about buying a new iPhone, clearly aware of all the hoopla surrounding his old phone choice:
