Tom Brady jokes about ‘interacting with the youths on TikTok’

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is staying young on and off the football field. After the quarterback put together a gem (348 passing yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT) in a win over the Washington Redskins on Sunday, Brady posted on Twitter about his new presence on TikTok, a video-meets-music social media platform.

Brady, whose first TikTok post went viral, seems to have gone through the comments of that post. While that’s usually a major mistake, Brady seemed to enjoy what he found. He then took to Twitter to show that he’s “interacting with the youths on TikTok.”

Brady discussed his decision to join TikTok during a press conference. Here’s the interaction, as transcribed by MassLive:

Reporter: “Do you know what TikTok is?”

Brady: “Are you putting me on the spot right now? Do you know what it is? Maybe you’re questioning me.”

Reporter: “I got it on my phone.

Brady? “Do you?”

Reporter: “Yeah.”

Brady: “I do too, wanna see it? Yeah, it’s on there.”

Reporter: “Did you have to get your teammates to explain it at all?”

Brady: “No. But they all like it. I’ve got a lot of comments. It’s a younger generation. I’m glad that you’re involved.”
