Tom Brady joked that Peyton Manning was ‘full of (expletive)’ over the Colts pumping noise

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning faced off in 16 games during their NFL careers. While the regular season was lopsided in Brady’s favor (9-3), their 2-2 postseason head-to-head record only fueled one of the league’s best quarterback rivalries.

But now with Manning a few years removed from his NFL career, he can look back and enjoy all the times he squared off with Brady. And Brady, too, was still ready to throw some jabs Manning’s way.

In a clip to promote Manning’s ESPN+ series, Peyton’s Places, both Brady and Manning were playing some golf (in what looked to be a backyard) and just reminisced on the rivalry.

That was when Brady brought up how loud the games were at the old RCA Dome.

Brady mentioned that he could never hear during those games, and Manning responded, “We didn’t pump in noise either.”

Without hesitation, Brady joked back, “No, you’re full of (expletive).”

The NFL cleared the Colts of pumping noise back in 2007 after the Patriots complained about the noise. The Atlanta Falcons, notably, were penalized for pumping crowd noise during the 2013 and 2014 seasons.

Still, Brady managed to put together a 3-1 record in his career at the RCA Dome. The one loss came when the Patriots blew a 21-3 lead in the 2007 AFC Championship Game, which led to Manning’s first Super Bowl title.
