After almost 23 years of playing professional football at the highest level, you’d think 45-year-old Tom Brady would eventually get sick of blotting out every fall Sunday in his schedule. With guaranteed First-Ballot Hall of Fame status, seven Super Bowl victories, and a largely unimpeachable argument as the greatest quarterback of all time — there’s nothing left for Brady to accomplish. Well, mostly nothing.
And yet, Brady apparently still isn’t walking away from the game any time soon.
On Thursday, during the Buccaneers’ final lead-up press conference to a matchup with the Panthers on Sunday, Brady maintained that he’s going to be playing in the NFL for the foreseeable future. Even amidst a struggle of a year.

Honestly, after his short-lived retirement from the offseason, it’s not shocking that Brady would find it hard to stop playing NFL football. Hey, if it makes him happy and he has continued access to the Fountain of Youth, I don’t blame him.
