Tom Brady had himself A DAY at the Bucs’ Super Bowl parade

This is the online version of our morning newsletter, The Morning WinSubscribe to get irreverent and incisive sports stories, delivered to your mailbox every morning.

Over the years we’ve grown used to seeing Tom Brady being all business and in complete control while leading his teams to big wins, much like he did the other night in Super Bowl 55.

And while we’ve seen the lighter side of the GOAT at times through his social media posts and whatnot, we’ve never really seen him like we saw him on Wednesday – having a really good time while celebrating his seventh Super Bowl victory.

I mean, Brady got after it during the Bucs’ boat parade, which looked like a lot more fun way to celebrate a Super Bowl win than the cold-weather parades he was used to having in Boston after his six other championship parades. Though Super Bowl parades are fun no matter where they are held, really… but warmer temps are always nice.

We saw Brady arrive on a multi-million dollar yacht.

We saw Brady throw the Lombardi Trophy from one boat to another, even while his daughter hilariously yelled at him not to do it.

We saw Brady wobble a bit as he got off the boat, and then make fun of himself for wobbling a bit while getting off the boat.

LeBron James was jealous of that moment, by the way.

Brady wasn’t alone, as all of his teammates got after it at the parade, celebrating a win that many didn’t think was possible this time last week.

But Brady was the leader, and it looked like he was having a lot of fun after a year in which many wondered if he might be done due to his age or that he might be done due to not being with Bill Belichick on his side anymore.

Brady isn’t done yet. Not at all. I’m guessing, however, that he might wake up this morning with a headache. That’s just a guess, though. I am not a doctor. Not even close.

And once that headache clears he’ll probably get back to eating healthy foods that don’t seem fun to eat and getting more pliable for the 2021 season where an eighth ring will be the thing he chases.

But as for Wednesday, the only thing he was chasing was a good time. And it looked like he and his teammates found one.
