Tom Brady gives what Joe Mixon calls the ‘best Christmas gift ever’

Joe Mixon was too afraid to ask. Tom Brady gave him a gift anyway.

After the New England Patriots beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15, Mixon wished he’d gotten a chance to ask Brady for a jersey swap. So Mixon admitted he was too embarrassed to ask Brady on Twitter, and Brady saw the tweet. The Patriots quarterback told Mixon he would send along a jersey. When the Bengals running back received the gift, he was thrilled.

“Man I say this in the most humbled way I’m so Blessed to be playing this game in the @nfl and Super Thankful for the G.O.AT.,” Mixon wrote on Instagram this week. “@tombrady Best Christmas gift ever especially growing up not ever having nothing.”
