Tom Brady, Dont’a Hightower react to Jamie Collins returning to Patriots

New England Patriots players seem pleased to get linebacker Jamie Collins back in the locker room. The team reportedly signed the linebacker, who played three and a half seasons in New England after the Patriots drafted him in the second round in 2013. At the midpoint of the 2016 season, Bill Belichick traded Collins to the Cleveland Browns, who then gave Collins a major deal, which he played on for two seasons. The Browns cut him this offseason, which led him back to New England.

The NFL’s Instagram post announced Collins’ return the Patriots. Quarterback Tom Brady saw it, and issued a “hell yeah.”

Linebacker Dont’a Hightower, meanwhile, let a GIF do the talking. He wrote, “He’s back,” on Twitter, tagged Collins’ account, and included a GIF from the TV show, “Friends.”

Former Patriots cornerback Logan Ryan, who played with Hightower and Collins, said the news was “very scary.”

It seems there will be a number of happy reunions when Collins gets back into action at Gillette Stadium.
