Tom Brady didn’t know Antonio Brown left the field, asks fans to be empathetic

Antonio Brown’s time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers came to a stunning end Sunday shortly after he took off his jersey and pads during the game and walked off the field topless while trying to get the fans to cheer for him.

It was an absolutely wild scene that reportedly happened after Brown told head coach Bruce Arians that he didn’t want to go into the game.

AB left the stadium on his own before the game was over and then shortly after the Bucs’ win, Arians told the media that Brown was no longer a member of the team.

Brown won a Super Bowl with the Bucs last year but this year has been a bad one for the WR as he was suspended three games for using a fake COVID-19 vaccination card.

Tom Brady, of course, pushed hard for the team to add Brown. The QB addressed the situation after Sunday’s game, saying he hoped fans could be empathetic toward the WR and that he didn’t know the extent of what happened until after the game.
