Tom Brady comically admits that Julian Edelman wasn’t a threat at QB

Tom Brady wasn’t threatened one bit when the New England Patriots drafted a quarterback in 2009 — he didn’t even remember who that quarterback was.

That quarterback was Julian Edelman from Kent State University, who blossomed into one of the NFL’s toughest wide receivers. But, he posed absolutely no threat to Brady as the team’s signal-caller.

In the regular season, Edelman does have an incredible 100 percent completion percentage, along with 43 passing yards and a 94.8 QBR.

Aside from that — the reigning Super Bowl MVP made the smart choice by converting to wide receiver.
