New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady chimed in on social media to offer words encouragement for former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier.
Shazier shared a video of him working on a box jump with a trainer. With the help of a spotter, Shazier managed to leap on top of the box, a significant achievement for a young man who lost his ability to walk on December 5 when he suffered a spinal injury.
Brady shared the video on Twitter with a response: “#KeepGoing.”
Shazier has taught himself how to walk again, while apparently working on additional physical movements. His progress is an inspiration.
