Tom Brady brought back the infamous courtroom sketch to poke fun at video game graphics

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is set to make his 10th Super Bowl appearance on Sunday. He’s been in the NFL since 2000, which often prompts Rovellian tweets like, “Apple’s most popular product the first time Tom Brady played in a Super Bowl: The iPod, first generation.”

He’s old. He’s been around forever.

But on Wednesday, Tom Brady — or at least whoever runs his social media pages — got in on the joke.

When the Sporting News Twitter account shared two photos from Brady’s progression in video games (NCAA Football 99 and Madden 21), Brady brought back the infamous courtroom sketch that took over social media in 2015.

Overlooking that the Madden 21 screenshot still didn’t look great, that was an excellent tweet.

He took the whole Deflategate saga (and subsequent legal proceedings) and used it for his own amusement six years later. That can’t be overlooked. Just expert use of Twitter.

Even if Brady loses the Super Bowl on Sunday, he’ll have that tweet to admire like so.
