Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft unlikely to attend Red Sox home-opener

A few New England Patriots will be present to attend the Boston Red Sox home-opener on Tuesday, but Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft are unlikely to attend, according to a team spokesperson.

The Patriots coaching staff has a pre-draft commitment, and Kraft will be out of town.

Retired tight end Rob Gronkowski, meanwhile, said he would attend, according to Boston.com. Star cornerback Stephon Gilmore is also expected to participate in the festivities.

In past years, the Patriots have showed up with their Lombardi Trophies. Without Brady, Belichick or Kraft, it’s unclear if they’ll bring the hardware for the Sox game against the Toronto Blue Jays at 2:05 p.m.
