Tom Brady and ‘The Rock’ exchange playful jabs on Twitter

It only took a day or so for Tom Brady to acquire just over 300,000 followers on the popular social media website. In doing so, a multitude of fans and celebrities followed the New England Patriots star as he navigated the chaos of Twitter.

On of those stars, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson riffed Brady’s first tweet, a joke about the quarterback retiring.

My good friend @TomBrady just texted me and said he’s retiring. What a career!
And that he’s also joined @Twitter.

Any fan scrolling by easily got some enjoyment from the interaction between the two superstars. April Fool’s day was certainly a curious day to break into the Twitter-sphere; only time will tell if Brady makes Twitter as entertaining as his other social media accounts.
