Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen put Massachusetts house up for sale for $39.5 million

ALLEN PARK, Mich. _ Do you have an extra $40 million in the bank? If so, maybe you can live like Tom Brady.

On Tuesday, the home for Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen was put up on the open market for a whopping $39.5 million. Built in 2015, this property in the Chestnut Hill area of Massachusetts comes with 5.24 acres of land and a guesthouse equipped with a yoga studio.

The listing had Patriots fans in a tizzy. This week, the NFL Network reported that Brady's new two-year extension is actually just a placeholder for the 2019 season. In fact, Brady's contract voids at the end of this season, which would make him an unrestricted free agent in March.

The timing of the contract news and the house listing was interesting _ if the latter is true. At 10 a.m. on Tuesday, the Brady household was listed for sale on Zillow.com. By 10:30 a.m., the house list was changed to 'off market.'

A quick Google search shows that most real-estate sites have the house listed as off the market. As of the afternoon, the house is still listed for sale with Barret Sotheby's International Realty for $39.5 million.
