Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers among star-studded NFL group attending Kentucky Derby

The place to be seen on the first Saturday in May is Churchill Downs. A number of NFL players, past and present, are going to be in Louisville for the Kentucky Derby.

Tom Brady will be one of the biggest NFL stars taking in the Derby. Brady already cashed big at the Run for the Roses.

Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers has been to the race before and enjoyed the Barnstable Brown Gala, the night before the big race.

Jimmy Garoppolo

Jimmy Garoppolo was Tom Brady’s understudy in New England so it is only appropriate that he joins the G.O.A.T. at the big race.

Jacoby Brissett

There will be 19 colts — and one gelding — in the starting gate so it is only fitting that a Colt quarterback will be at the race. Jacoby Brissett is another former Patriot QB who will be present.

Sean McVay

The big names appear at the Derby and no NFL coach is more on the rise than the Los Angeles Rams’ Sean McVay. The Run for the Roses is the place to be seen.

Kliff Kingsbury

No surprise that Kliff Kingsbury would attend the Kentucky Derby as he is one of the hottest names in sports and pop culture.

Von Miller

Another horse reference? Von Miller plays for the Broncos so hitting Louisville is the perfect fit.

Danny Amendola

USA TODAY Sports

Another part of the Patriots’ party, former New England wideout Danny Amendola will be part of the festivities.

Julian Edelman

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Julian Edelman was the Super Bowl MVP. Will he be able to continue his strong run by picking the winner of the Run for the Roses?

Mike Vrabel

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Mike Vrabel has lots of Patriots’ history. Wonder if the Tennessee Titans coach is heading to the race with his former teammates or if he will keep his distance as coach of another team?

Brian Hoyer

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

Another New England quarterback as Brian Hoyer, the backup to Tom Brady, will make the trip with many of his teammates.

Randall Cobb

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

No surprise Randall Cobb would take in the Kentucky Derby as he played college ball in the Bluegrass State for the Wildcats.

Jimmy Graham

Jimmy Graham will likely be hanging out with his former Green Bay teammate, Randall Cobb, who is now a Dallas Cowboy. Will Graham look to Cobb for advice since the wideout spent college years in Kentucky?

Matt Cassel

Jim Rogash/Getty Images

The Kentucky Derby is shaping up as a reunion for New England Patriots quarterbacks. So, why not have Matt Cassel join the party?

Davante Adams

USAT

Another Packer wideout planning to attend the “Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports” is Randall Cobb. With Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers at the race, and all these wide receivers could set up quite the fun football game.

A.J. Hawk

A.J. Hawk is a former Green Bay Packer. No doubt he will be spending time with the other players from Wisconsin.

Wes Welker

Wes Welker isn’t on the guest list for the Barnstable Brown Gala. Wouldn’t be shocking for him to be at the race. He’s a horse owner, one of his horses was named Undrafted, and he knows how to have fun at the Derby.
